Previa Media Maratón Belmez-Espiel Rompepiernas

Cuando ves aparecer por la esquina a la desidia, nada mejor que ponerse de nuevo en marcha y escapar de ella.

Me comentaron hace ná don Francisco y Mr. Puti sobre la posibilidad de enrolarnos en una nueva locura. Esta vez más colgada que la anterior. La media maratón de Belmez-Espiel, mejor conocida como la Rompepiernas.

¡Vaya!, – dije - es una prueba dura, llevo tiempo sin competir y no estoy en forma.

Pero eché la vista atrás y recordé aquella última carrera “oficial” en la que participé. La maravillosa carrera por las calles de mi pueblo.

Fue una auténtica gozada corretear bajo el ánimo de mis amig@s dando voces , sonriéndome a medida que pasaba por esas emblemáticas calles e insuflando de oxígeno de esta forma mis maltrechos pulmones. 

Para variar, necesité de mis auriculares Gallos para poder darme confianza y fuerza. Esas canciones martilleándome el cerebro, repitiendo himnos conocidos y dedicados cada uno de ellos a personas influyentes en mi vida fue el último empujón que necesitaba para poder entrar en meta en un tiempo digno. Aún recuerdo aquellas palabras de Jane: en su minuto 07:01 “Run, horse, run..”  (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLY56hNhh-A)

Así que ya no hay vuelta atrás. Desde hoy empiezo a prepararlo todo. Voy a entrenar con conciencia. Voy a ir seleccionando unos temazos que me hagan rodar a gusto (os pediré ayuda, se me ha ocurrido  una idea). Tengo justo un mes; apuntado a la carrera ando, y el 10 de marzo me volveré a vestir de corto. ¡O quizá no me visto!
